Agnona  
Specialised in the production of fabrics for ladieswear which regularly appear in the collections of the greatest international fashion Houses, and which make up half of the turnover of the company. In 1921, Giovanni Alessi, the last descendant of an antique family of skilled lathe turners, founded in Omegna, near Novara, the company that still carries his name.In the '20s and '30s the company produced tableware and items for the home which were distinctive of the great care taken to make them and which totally represented the collective memory of generations of Italians. Copper, brass and nickel silver were the materials used to make these creations.

Kartell
Founded in 1949 by Giulio Castelli, Kartell is one of the most representative of Italian companies in the field of design and international furniture. Today, the Kartell factory in Noviglio, near Milan, is located on an area of 150 thousand square metres, of which around 30 thousand are built on.

Flos
Founded in Merano in 1962, Flos is one of the most important lighting companies in the world. The budding designers, brothers Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni together with Tobia Scarpa, are the ones who have over the years seen to the abundant success represented also in museums all over the world and in particular in Mo.Ma in New York.

Frette
Frette is one of the most prestigious textile companies in the world. It offers textile products for the home, for the hotel business, for executive gifts and promotions. Founded in Savoia in 1890 by Edmond Frette, the company of the same name was set up as a limited company in 1906 and has its head office in Concorezzo, near Milan.

Cellular Italia
Distributor and manufacturer of cellular phone accessories.

Brioni
In 1945, in Via Barberini in Rome, Nazareno Fonticoli and Gaetano Savini set up the Brioni dressmaker's workroom. The name they chose for the their laboratory of high-class tailoring is that of the Adriatic island where, in the '20s and '30s, the European Jet set would meet for golf and polo.From Gary Cooper, Clarke Gable, John Wayne to Pierce Brosnan, the latest James Bond, great actors have been ambassadors of a unmistakable style in the world.

Caffarel  
Boasting a pioneering tradition exactly in Turin, the city that since 1600 had been considered the chocolate kingdom, in the early part of the 19th century the company started production and the artisans invented such exquisite and exclusive recipes that, even today, they are the secret of Caffarel products.

Illy
"Art and science of espresso coffee" has always been the philosophy that characterises Illycaffé, the company created in Trieste in 1933 by Francesco Illy who specialised in the production of a single blend of coffee, known everywhere for its quality.

The Ermenegildo Zegna Group is a world leader in fine menswear, with a 30% share of the market; producing 2 million metres of fabric a year, 500,000 (capispalla), 500,000 shirts and 3 million ties; with 3700 employees; achieved a turnover of 875 billion Lire in 1997 (of which 80% form clothing and acessories, 20% from textiles) and an export quota of 75%.

Etro
The history of Etro began in 1968 when Gimmo Etro started his entrepreneurial adventure as a material converter for clothing, giving life to a production of luxury fabrics made with noble and natural fibres such as cashmere, silk, linen and cotton, adorned with original designs and innovative colourings. In 1981 a line of furnishings was created.

Today the company Gianfranco Ferré Spa has a total turnover of around 1520 billion Lire of which 75% represents exports.
